Our Openreach approved covers and frames are suitable for footway developments where replacement covers, or new chamber builds are required.

The cover sides are tapered for ease of removal, they offer a slip-resistant surface, have no inherent scrap value, and offer long service life. Installation is simplified by the covers being supplied pre pre-concrete filled, sizes to suit BT chamber openings.

Lord's Cricket Ground

Wrekin Products were approached by consultant Buro Happold to discuss the redevelopment of the Compton and Edrich Stands at Lords Cricket Ground, St John Wood, London.  The redevelopment proposed, required two bespoke covers that could interact with pre-existing valves and hydrants below. Both covers would need to satisfy Thames Water and Fire Brigade specifications.
