Royal Forestry Society invite to Wrekin

The Royal Forestry Society has invited specialists from Wrekin Products to do a presentation to its members after officials saw the company’s experts and products at the ARB Show 2017.

The UK’s largest supplier of geotextiles and geogrids, Wrekin Products exhibited a broad range of systems at the ARB trade show. Among products to draw particular attention from the scores of people who visited the stand was the recently-launched TreeBunker system.

TreeBunker is used to form an underground structural void for the containment of soil for newly planted trees in hard landscapes. The unique design and manufacture of the units ensure it is the most cost-effective and installer-friendly system available in the U.K.

Designed to enable the safe, healthy growth of large trees in urban settings, the system also can form part of an overall Suds solution, providing water storage and filtration through the final system.

Plenty of interest was also shown in Celltrack, which offers an attractive alternative to traditional paving materials such as asphalt, concrete and block paving. Fully Suds-compliant, Celltrack can be filled with either grass or gravel, depending on the aesthetic requirements of the site, and comes in a range of colours to suit site specific requirements.

Wrekin Products has been a regular exhibitor at the ARB Show, organised by the Arboricultural Association and which is the largest and longest-established show in the UK dedicated to arboriculture. This year’s event took place within Westonbirt Arboretum, near Tetbury.

Wrekin has underlined its continued support of the Arboricultural Association (AA) and its members by already signing up for the AA National Amenity Conference taking place at Exeter University in September.

“As always, it was a wonderful event. More visitors than ever before came to our stand with plenty of interest shown in our solutions, particularly from arboricultural consultants.

“To be invited to present an educational seminar by the Royal Forestry Society is an honour and we look forward to delivering that in the not-too-distant future.”
