    The Wrekin Products geogrids team value-engineered a fit-for-purpose adoptable road for a new Derby housing development, working with the city council, William Davis Homes and S&L Groundworks.

  • Unite Installation M25

    Contracted by the Highways Agency (HA), Mouchel was tasked with investigating the most cost effective and reliable way to utilise the hard shoulder of the M25 during peak rush hours. This posed several engineering problems, of which one was to consider the service life of the manhole covers that would now be located in the wheel track of one of Europe’s busiest stretches of motorway.

  • Thames Water Framework

    Prior to 2004 Thames Water observed two specific trends regarding their ongoing Manhole cover replacement program. Firstly that the requirement to replace was accelerating but of greater concern was the number of instances that called for recently replaced covers to be replaced for a second time and even a third.
