Recessed trays for block paving

This comprehensive range of recessed manhole covers and frames are used in areas of paving where it is desirable to have a continuity of surface finish and pattern. The cover recess is 80/100 mm for use with 60/80 mm blocks. The covers and frames are hot dipped galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461. Keyways are reinforced to help avoid distortion and supplied complete with plastic blanking plugs as standard.

Plain seated

Product features

  • Hot dipped galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461, to prevent corrosion for a long life
  • Lifting keyways are reinforced to increase resistance to damage from lifting
  • Plastic keyway blanking plugs are included to help prevent small items such as heels from entering the keyways
  • Robust steel frame to ensure maximum adhesion to the bedding material

Double seal

Product features

  • Hot dipped galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461, to prevent corrosion for a long life
  • Tapered sides of the cover aid with the removal of the inset tray
  • Continuous labyrinth seal and neoprene seal for better resistance to water ingress and odour egress
  • Provided with guide tubes for the locking screws to ease installation
  • Provided with four locking screws
  • Robust steel frame to ensure maximum adhesion to the bedding material

This range of recessed trays for block infill are supplied with built in concealed lifting handles for cover removal without the need for manhole keys or tools.

Block Infill - Openreach approved

Recessed trays

Our range of Openreach-approved block pavior covers and frames are particularly suited to town centre developments, where replacement of existing service covers is required to facilitate infill of blocks or stone to match the surrounding area.

Individual lids incorporate a central lifting point and tapered cover side to provide a slide-out feature for access by a single operative.
