Step oneUse a screwdriver or wire brush to remove the dirt from the top edges and seating of the installed frame. Step twoMeasure the clear opening Step threeIdentify where the Multigrate will be cut, cutting only two sides, in the cutting zones marked to give a tight ‘wedge’ fit into the frame. Step fourOffer up the grate to the frame, upside down. Trim with the file if needed. Step fiveNote the kerb side and the road side. Step sixRemove any more of the grid which is preventing it from being fitted. Step sevenInsert the grid, applying the necessary force to give a tight fit. Step eightIf the unit has any residual movement, use wedges supplied, fitted to either side of non-cutting edges. Wedging the MultigrateWhen making the cut against the kerb, please ensure the cut is angled at approximately 80-85° to allow the Multigrate unit to be 'wedged into the frame.
