REVOLUTIONARY INBOARD LOCKING SYSTEM

Inboard locking function on a BT access cover

The newly developed inboard locking mechanism allows for a more streamlined installation process while significantly reducing the risk of damage during reinstatement. The system keeps the locking components safely inside the cover's profile, eliminating interference with compaction equipment during tarmac finishing.

Here's what remains the same

Installation tools: Fully compatible with existing BT Openreach cover lifters and fitting gear (LN373 Clause 5 compliant).

Bedding materials: Designed to work seamlessly with approved mortars - no change to bedding depths, preparation or curing processes.

Installation methods: Follows the same LN550 procedures and inspection criteria already familiar to your teams.
