In a strategic move designed to unlock more opportunity in Europe and strengthen distribution and purchasing powers, Wrekin Products as of 24 May 2022 has a new partner working alongside the Turner family.
This agreement will not change Wrekin’s day-to-day business operations, branding, management team or wider staff. Instead, this new partnership will facilitate Wrekin’s expansion into new markets as they will form part of a group with a French manufacturer of cast iron covers and gratings, Product Industriels Lorrains (P.I.L).
Simon Turner, commercial director at Wrekin Products, said: “This is an excellent opportunity for Wrekin and underpins our growth strategy across Europe and our ambitions to increase product innovation. While the running of the business will remain exactly the same as before the partnership, this move will undoubtedly unlock new market opportunities for us, and we are excited to be working with our new partner and P.I.L as part of this strategy.”
