We lift the lid on 2022 success

7 times taller than mount everest

Taller than Everest

If you stacked each of the covers we produced last year on top of one another, it would measure over 60,000 metres high. This is over 7 times taller than Mount Everest.

Last year, we fulfilled more than 20,000 customer quotes and sold over half a million of our premium gully grates, manhole covers and access covers.

Our products have been used on an array of construction projects up and down the country including hospitals, prisons, tram tracks, highways, and even a castle. Among our best-selling products was the Tristar range closely followed by our extensive Safeseal range.

Our product manager, Gosia Kwapisz said: “It was an exciting year for our roads, drainage, and sewage access personnel as we had the privilege of working on a range of projects in many different ways – helping to solve lots of different issues. Our team has worked hard, lead in innovation, and surpassed expectations to provide state-of-the-art products at the forefront of the industry.

However, while we have been developing new drainage solutions, we’ve not compromised the assurance we give our clients that all our products are premium quality and will last for years to come.

Each of our covers is designed to be installed once and replaced only after many years of heavy use. For example, our Unite range has been installed more than 100,000 times across some of London’s busiest roads and has not experienced a single reported failure in 20 years. Moreover, other business decisions, such as transporting our products by ship and using 100% recyclable materials, mean our solutions are some of the most sustainable on the market.

Over 500000access solutions sold

Gosia added: “With climate change undeniably a worldwide issue, we’re proud to be playing a part in helping to reduce carbon emissions. Not only do ESG initiatives and the longevity of our products contribute to this effort, but as rainfall and weather patterns become more unpredictable, our reliable drainage products provide crucial long-term solutions.

“Throughout 2023 we’ll be researching and implementing more ways to further reduce our carbon footprint in the development process – from the material acquisition phase all the way through to shipping the final product.”

We will be building on the success of 2022 by expanding both our team and our offering in the new year. We have new and exciting products launching, and we’ll also be exhibiting at Highways UK.
