Congratulations to our Junior Design & Marketing Executive, Antonia Caranza, who has added to her skills by successfully completing the CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing) Level 3 Award in Marketing Principles and Customer Communications.
Antonia attended Loughborough College on Tuesday evenings from last September until March of this year to gain the qualification, with the first module allowing her to gain an understanding of the key concepts used in marketing and look at the factors that can influence consumer behaviour.
The course also outlined the concepts and elements which make up the marketing mix and how they are applied in context. There was an exam at the end of this part.
The second module looked at Customer Communications, providing an understanding of how marketing communications can be used in practice to engage customers and the range of tools available to achieve this.
It also taught how to develop a successful marketing communications campaign and learn how the campaign can be put into practice. This module was tested through written coursework and Antonia applied her theory to each question by focusing on Wrekin and our customer communications.
Antonia already has a BA in Illustration, gained at Loughborough University, but this was her first CIM course.
