Landscaping and ground engineering seminars invite

Two different but equally informative lunchtime seminars covering landscaping solutions and ground engineering solutions are being offered by Wrekin Products.

“We are regularly invited to talk about geosynthetic solutions as the need for designers to provide cost-effective, value-engineered solutions for ground engineering situations is a major factor in today’s green approach to civil engineering.” – Roy Partington, Geosynthetics Divisional Director
Ideal for arboriculturists, developers, designers, highway engineers, planning officers and project engineers, the sessions are led by geosynthetic experts and provide those attending with an overview of key aspects to consider when designing with geosynthetics.

Discussion of ways to deal with common issues is also included and the Q&A element gives professionals a chance to share thoughts and ideas.

  1. The Landscaping Solutions seminar focuses on tree root development, tree root protection, turf reinforcement and grass protection.
  2. The Ground Engineering Solutions seminar looks at ground stabilisation, geotextiles, geogrids, geocells, erosion control, geomembranes and sustainable drainage system (SuDS) applications.

Each session includes applications and solutions, looks at case studies and provides an opportunity to ask questions of Wrekin’s geosynthetic experts. Product details and Wrekin’s design services are also included in the training.

The seminars have been designed with busy professionals in mind, providing important information and insights with minimum disruption to those attending. They are delivered in a lunchtime slot in offices or preferred venues and food is provided at £5 per head.

Certificates are sent to those who complete the seminar.

Roy Partington, Geosynthetics Divisional Director for Wrekin Products says“The lunch and learn sessions take expert advice to the premises of those who will benefit. They really are an offer not to be missed!”

Wrekin Products’ geosynthetic products are employed on major civil engineering and landscaping projects across the UK and Ireland.

The ever-expanding range offers solutions for ground stabilisation, reinforcement, erosion control, drainage, environmental protection, grass protection and weed suppression and the extensive range and stock profile ensures any specification of geotextile or grid can be met at short notice to ensure continuity of build on site.
