The UK’s largest supplier of geotextiles and geogrids, Wrekin Products, will be at the ARB Show this week, providing arborists and professionals who work with trees a chance to see the very latest products and discuss them with the company’s renowned experts.
Wrekin will be exhibiting a broad range of systems at ARB. E’GRID high performance biaxial geogrid is a cost-effective and robust system used to reduce sub base thicknesses on working platforms, access roads and piling mats will be available for ARB visitors to see.
Roy Partington, Geosynthetics Divisional Director for Wrekin Products, is also expecting plenty of interest in the recently launched TreeBunker and Protectaweb root protection systems.
TreeBunker is an underground structural void former for the containment of planting soil for newly planted trees in hard landscapes. The unique design and manufacture of the units ensure it is the most cost-effective and installer-friendly system available in the U.K.
TreeBunker provides unlimited space to promote large healthy growth of urban trees. The system also can form part of an overall Suds solution, providing water storage and filtration through the final system.
For those seeking a solution to the challenge of providing vehicular access paths over root protection areas of protected trees on development sites, ProtectaWeb will be what they head for on the stand.
The ProtectaWeb system includes three-dimensional cellular confinement conforming to BS5827 and APN12. It is available in six different depths to match vehicle loading requirements and ground conditions.
Wrekin offers the widest range of grass and gravel paving systems in the UK. Known as Celltrack, the range includes 38mm, 50mm and 70mm deep cells all of which are available in unit sizes of 500mm x 500mm and 1200mm x 800mm.
Celltrack offers an attractive alternative to traditional paving materials such as asphalt, concrete and block paving. Fully Suds-compliant, Celltrack may be filled with grass or gravel, depending on aesthetic requirements of the site. It comes in a range of colours to suit site specific requirements and will also be featured on Wrekin’s ARB stand.
Wrekin Products’ extensive range and stock profile ensures any specification of geotextile or grid can be met at short notice to ensure continuity of build on site.
The full range of Wrekin geosynthetic products, employed on major civil engineering and landscaping projects across the UK and Ireland, is expected to generate plenty of interest at the ARB Show 2017. It takes place within Westonbirt Arboretum, near Tetbury, on Friday, May 12 and Saturday, May 13.
