Wrekin at ‘Seeing is Believing’ exhibition, Nov 2016

‘Seeing is Believing’ (SIB) turns the highways maintenance and traffic management world ‘inside-out’ with both an indoor and outdoor demonstration zone to the exhibition.

Presented by Highways Magazine in conjunction with Highways England and Smart Motorways Highways’ SIB provides the perfect showcase in real road environments outside in
all weather and lighting conditions. This year the ‘Inside-out’ philosophy is taken further with the creation of an conferences, workshops and roundtable discussions (offering 2 days Continuing Professional Development (CPD) accredited by the IHE). Many of the techniques and skills presented inside put into practice outside, along the new two-way street.

Key highlights for the 2016 event include:
• A large indoor exhibition hall featuring over 80 leading companies and organisations.
• Six specialised outdoor ‘zones’ covering maintenance, markings, traffic calming, signage, technology and lighting.
• A two-way street operating alongside the outside demonstration areas.
• Designated drop-off and collection points.
• A full timetable of outdoor demonstrations.
• A fully marked motorway for showcase displays.
• An apprenticeship/skills zone within the hall.
In conjunction with the ‘integrated’ conference, Highways SIB provides organisations with a unique showcase to market all their highways products and services without the restrictions necessitated by an indoor-only event.
