Geomembranes

HDPE membranes

High-density polyethylene impermeable geomembranes (HDPE) are resistant to most chemicals and have a high stress factor resistance. These tried and tested products are ideal for SUDS applications including attenuation tanks, pond lining, anaerobic digestion applications, porous sub-base installations, containment, cut-off trenches and structural waterproofing.

HDPE geomembrane

High-Density Polyethylene geomembranes are designed to protect structures from the ingress of moisture, water, liquids, radon, carbon dioxide and methane together with chemicals.

Our technical team can advise on product selection appropriate to the application and full installation method statements. Suitable for welding, we can also supply the tapes for lapped and taped jointed situations or we can offer a full design, supply and installation option. Providing the client with the comfort that the selected system will be installed correctly ensuring long term performance.

Root Barrier
stop invasive plant species

Root penetration resistance

Our high-density polyethylene (HDPE) membrane is a highly effective barrier against the spread of undesirable root systems of many invasive plant species.

Due to the smooth and rigid surface, the plant's root primordia are diverted, and controlled within the given boundaries of the HDPE containment area. Resistance to root penetration from invasive species, including (but not limited to):

  • Japanese knotweed
  • Bamboo
  • Mustard seed
  • Meadow Grass
  • Ivy
  • Hybrid poplars

Ornamental Pond at Fallow Park

Fallow Park is an exclusive housing development on the outskirts of Cannock. A 1400m2 ornamental pond with green space was designed to enhance the development and provide a habitat for a variety of wildlife. The ground conditions and nature of the finished pond meant that an impermeable membrane would be required to line the pond.
